The Alabama A&M University women’s soccer team (1-5) will continue its four-match homestand on Sunday at 11 a.m. (CT) against the Northwestern State Demons (1-4-1) at the Bulldog Soccer Field.

The Bulldogs are coming off a 5-0 loss to Middle Tennessee State University on Thursday. Both AAMU goalies recorded saves on the night, with Liliana Ribeironotching seven and Yesenia Aiken claiming one of her own late in the second half.

The Demons have just claimed their first win of the season, blanking Jackson State 4-0 on Friday. Three players sent the ball into the net, with a brace coming from sophomore Emily Senatore.

AAMU and Northwestern State have met just once before, in the 2023 season. The Lady Demons would emerge victorious after a penalty kick.
